Dan Philosophy Heritage
Good design is as little design as possible: Less, but better - because it concentrates on the essential aspects, and the product are not burdened with non-essentials. Back to purity, back to simplicity.
- Dieter Rams
My design philosophy and practice has been shaped by years of experimentation, failing, questioning, making and going against the grain. All while trying to maintain the modern approach to design as Dieter Rams while staying true to the Arts & Crafts/Bauhaus transitional era of Design. I have learned to let the process lead without losing focus of the goal, this has proven to be one of the most effective ways on empathizing with the user. The Hauform name derives from the school of design originating in Weimar Germany, Staatliches Bauhaus, or more commonly known as Bauhaus.
